Encouraging Quotes
King Soloman was wise because he asked God to make him wise, you can ask God to make you wise too.
There are still things to be discovered and invented. God knows how to do everything, maybe with His help you will invent something new or discover the cure for a disease.
You've probably been told, "You can do or be anything you want to do or be." But a better way is, "You can do or be anything "God" wants you to do or be." God knows what is best for you.
Small minds discuss people, average minds discuss events, great minds discuss ideas.
Prayer for Your School
Father, I thank You that the entrance of Your Word brings light and I thank You that You watch over Your Word to perform it. Father, I bring before You ________________ (name your school) and the men and women who are in positions of authority, all people employed by the school and all volunteers. Father, place skillful and godly wisdom into their hearts. I pray that men and women of integrity, blameless, and complete in Your sight, remain in position at the school, but that wicked and treacherous people be cut off and rooted out in the name of Jesus.
Father, I pray that leaders, teachers, employees, volunteers and students at ________________ (name your school) will separate themselves from contact with contaminating and corrupting influences, that they will recognize evil and flee from it.
Father, keep angels in and around ________________ (name your school) to protect people within and to protect people as they come and go.
I pray these things in Jesus mighty name, and I believe Father God that You are at work now this very minute making _________________ (name your school) a better place.

Students Prayer
Father, I believe I can do all things You have called me to do through Christ who strengthens me. I believe I can do anything You want me to do because nothing is too hard for You and nothing is impossible with Your help.
Father, fill me with the knowledge of Your will and give me spiritual wisdom, understanding and discernment of spiritual things so I can live in a manner worthy of You. Protect the whole me, my spirit, my soul and my body from all kinds of evil.
Father, I ask that you give me much wisdom and understanding about everything I say and do. Give me knowledge and make me a skilled learner. Help me to remember what I have learned when I take a test. Father, Your Word says that Daniel was ten times better than all the learned in matters of wisdom and understanding. I believe if I do my best to obey Your Word, and love and seek You with all my heart, that You will do for me what You did for Daniel.
Father, cause me to find grace and favor with every person I come into contact with. Help me to be salt and light to the world. If I am in a situation where I don’t know what to say or do, bring Your Word to my remembrance, put the right words in my mouth and show me what to do. Bring good friends into my life and help me know who not to be friends with.
Father God, I pray these things in Jesus precious name. I believe You have heard and will answer my prayer.

Life Scenario Game
You children are going to be tempted and taunted to do many wrong things in life, especially at school. Help them to remember if their, “friends” try to get them to do something wrong, they are not really a friend. Play the following game with your children.
How to play – Put a water bottle with the lid tightly closed in the center of the table, spin, whoever it points to answers the question.
Look up these scriptures, then read the possible scenarios You don’t have a lot of time to think of an answer. Say the first thing that comes to mind.
God will help you know what to say:
Exodus 4:10-15 Proverbs 15:1-2 Isaiah 50:4-5
Why should I do right anyway?
Proverbs 1:7-10, 15-16 2nd Chronicles 16:9 1 Corinthians 15:33 Ephesians 6:1-3 Colossians 3:17, 23
There is Someone who can see everything you do:
Proverbs 15:3 Job 34:21
Possible Scenarios
Someone says to you……
“Hey! Wanna ditch school today? It’ll be fun. My parents are out of town, we can hang out at my house and have a blast.”
“Take some of these pills. It’s just cold medicine. If you take about 20 of them you’re gonna feel real good. Come on. Everybody is doing it.”
“Mr. Lindman has the answers to Friday’s test in his desk. Sneak into his room during lunch and copy the answers. I’ll give you 20 bucks. If you don’t, you’re a wimp.”
“Lets go to Walmart and see how many candy bars we can sneak into our coat pockets. Me and my friends do it all the time. We’ve never been caught. We’ll give the candy to the food bank, so it’s not really stealing. Come on it’ll be fun.”
Your “friend” tries to get you to smoke a cigarette. They say, “you’ll never know how great it is unless you try one.”
Your “friend” calls and says, “ I’m going to a party at Bozo’s house (you know that there are always drugs and alcohol at Bozo’s parties), but I told my mom I was going to be at your house spending the night. So if she calls just tell her I’m in the bathroom or something.”
School is out, your parents won’t be home for another 2 hours, it’s raining, your supposed to walk straight home. Your “friends” offer you a ride home. They have some beer hidden in the floor of the car. You see that one of them is already drinking. They say, “come on, let’s go, get in or it’ll be too late!”
Someone has been trying to get you to sell drugs, they say, “are you chicken? I’ve been dealing for years and I’ve never been caught. You know, you’ll never have anything if you don’t make some money this way. There aren’t any good jobs in this town.”
To be in a really cool club you have to hide along the highway and throw rotten eggs at cars going by. Then you have to steal a bottle of whisky from Safeway and drink the whole thing. The club leader says, “don’t worry, no one ever gets caught”.
You accidentally bump into someone and make them spill their soda. They say, “Watch out looser. Do you need glasses?”
Make up more scenarios based on your own experiences and ask your kids what kind of situations they have been in where they had to do some quick decision making.
But remember this – the wrong desires that come into your life aren’t anything new and different. Many others have faced exactly the same problems before you. And no temptation is irresistible. You can trust God to keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can’t stand up against it, for he has promised this and will do what he says. He will show you how to escape temptation’s power so that you can bear up patiently against it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 TLB
