I'm writing this letter so you'll
know how things ought to go in God's household, this God-alive church,
bastion of truth

I Timothy 3:15 (Msg)

Who Killed Jesus

Who Killed Jesus

Roman Soldiers Who Came from Many Nations

And so Pilate (the Roman governor), willing to content the people, delivered Jesus, when he had scourged Him, to be crucified.  Mark 15:15

Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the Praetorian and gathered the whole garrison around Him. And they stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him. And when they had mocked Him, they took the robe off Him, put His own clothes on Him, and led Him away to be crucified. Matthew 27:27-28, 31

The Jews - Men of Israel

Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put Him to death. Matthew 26:59

When Pilate saw that he could not prevail at all, but rather that a tumult was rising, he took water and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, “I am innocent of the blood of this just Person. You see to it.” And all the people answered and said, “His blood be on us and on our children.” Matthew 27:24-25

Him being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death.  Acts 2:23   See also v. 36

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go.  And killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses. Acts 3:13,15 See also Acts 5:17-32

Judas Iscariot

And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests, to betray Him unto them. Mark 14:10

He answered and said, “He who dipped his hand with Me in the dish will betray Me.” The Son of man goeth as it is written of Him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! It had been good for that man if he had not been born. Matthew 26:23-24

God

Surely He hath borne our grief's, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. Yet  it  pleased  the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul and offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.  Isaiah 53:4,10

He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Romans 8:32

Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”  Matthew 27:46

You and Me

The Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:6

But God demonstrates His love toward us, In that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.   Isaiah 53:5-6

Jesus came into the world to save sinners.
1 Timothy 1:15
