Alberto and Zulma Ruelas
Jecori, Sonora, Mexico

Alberto (Beto) and Zulma have pastored Monte Sion in Jecori (he-cor-ree), Sonora since October 2005. They are presently pursuing a building project to better facilitate the needs of their growing church. Jecori is about 110 miles from the Douglas, AZ border, a town of about 800 inhabitants. They are graduates of El Shaddai Missions Training Institute and have two children, Betito (12) and Ysella (3 ½).
They are faithful to do door-to-door ministry, and have prayed for and seen many sick healed. They have a zeal for reaching other nations with the gospel and impart that zeal to others. They faithfully seed to other nations every month.
Jecori was VERY hard to the Gospel 15 years ago when Bob and Miki first entered its gates. They had sticks and rocks thrown at them and people tore up the tracts they had distributed. But now there is a growing work there.
Beto and Zulma also do evangelistic missions work in “La Colonia de Cumpas”, about 10 minutes away from Jecori. Souls are being added to the kingdom.
