Juan and Maria De La Parra

Nacozari, Sonora, Mexico

Juan and Maria founded Centro Cristiano Rhema (Rhema Christian Center) Church in 1996. Now called Centro Cristiano “Palabras de Vida y Amor”.They met in their home for the first 4 years, then purchased land and are in the process of building a church as money is available. They need to finish the walls and do some finish work inside and outside. 

Juan and Maria have six children and five grandchildren.  

They provide many community functions that bless their entire area. They are especially talented with children's programs. They lead one of Faith Ministries' Christmas Outreach teams.

Update from Juan and Maria: "Our church is now registered with the federal government, a process that has taken 4 years and required much work. That they will have health and well being to follow the instructions of the Holy Spirit.

That they will be blessed with the operation and manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit.

That they will have sufficient finances and dependable equipment.

That they will have contact and good relations with key people.

That they have grace and favor from local and national government officials.

b. A vehicle or a better vehicle suitable for rough terrain.

c. Funds to purchase or finish parsonage.

d. Funds to finish church building or to purchase land to begin building.
