Ruben and Maria Serrato
Douglas, Arizona, USA

In 1993 Ruben moved from Douglas, Arizona to attend Bible School
in Cumpas, Sonora. When Ruben was in Bible School, the Lord gave him a
vision of the small town of Jecori which he was evangelizing every
Saturday. In the vision he was standing next to the sign that says 600
Inhabitants. Instead of seeing the town there was a great big hole. The
Lord told him to fill that hole with the Word of God. In 1996 Ruben
married Maria and they founded Monte Sion(Mount Sinai). (Now pastored by Alberto and Zulma Ruelas.)
Ruben and Maria work as guides and interpreters for missions teams going into Mexico.
They have two children:
Lucia and Ivan.
