The Decision, May 2004

Greg Bitgood and his youth from Heritage Christian School in Kelowna, British Columbia made a great impact for the Kingdom of God in Sonora. They brought music, a funny puppet skit called "The Most Important Thing in Life", and one of the most powerful dramas we’ve ever seen, "The Decision".

The performance was done in three churches and seven plazas. The attendance was excellent and the impact on the people powerful. People’s attention was captured by the powerful message of salvation. You could hear a pin drop and see tears flowing down faces of young and old, men and women. When the salvation call went out, hands went up as people made decisions to receive Christ. Hallelujah! Nacozari, Cumpas, Teonadepa, Jecori, Moctezuma, Tepache, Divisederos, and Douglas were impacted with God’s Word in action.

During the day the team went to Jecori to do groundwork for Monte Sion(Mount Sinai). As it is to be built on the side of a hill, they took dirt from the high place and moved it to the low spots. They cleared and leveled a place by the road for cars to park, and built steps from the parking area to the new church. They really worked hard. Praise God for the strength and energy of youth.
