Korean Missions Team March 2006

In March, we were privileged to host Bret Christ and his youth group from the Korean Baptist Church in Tulsa, OK. They were a delight to have. Not only were they a blessing to the people of Mexico, but their lives were transformed as well. They ministered in Douglas, Jecori, Moctezuma, El Llamo, Tepache, Divisederos, Cumpas and Nacozari.

The last day the High School in Cumpas opened their door for them to do a culture exchange program. They gave us two hours. We started by exchanging the culture traditions of Korea and Mexico, and then went on to do music and drama that presented the salvation message. One of the young men had a black belt in Tackwondo and demonstrated it to them. The kids were impressed!

Then Pastor Bret talked to the students about drugs, alcohol, and abstinence. They ended their time by playing basketball together. Not only did the students enjoy the program, but the director and teachers were appreciative of a job well done.
