Merry Christmas
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be on his shoulder; and his name shall be called wonderful, counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting father, the prince of peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end... Isaiah 9:6-7 NKJ.
Praise God! The reign of King Jesus is unending and continues to increase. When Jesus is born in our hearts and we make Him the Lord of our lives, then we are sons of His eternal kingdom. We are no longer subjects of the kingdom of darkness, but according to Colossians 1:13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.
Jesus prayed in Matthew 6:10, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. It is God’s will that His will be done on earth.
When Jesus ascended, He delegated authority to us, His church, to carry on the work of His Kingdom. In Matthew 18:18-19 the Reiu translation says it this way, Here’s a part of the believers inheritance: Whatever you forbid, I’ll forbid. All of heaven stands at attention ready to back you up. But if you allow it, I have to allow it. Whatever decision you make I’ll back you up on it.
When we received Jesus, the light of the world, we received His glory also. Isaiah 60:1-3 Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen on you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the peoples; but the Lord shall rise on you, and His glory shall be seen on you. And the nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawning.
When we’re walking in the glory of God’s Spirit, we recognize this ever increasing, glorious splendor of God’s presence with us. On the other hand, when we see the news, the gross darkness spoken of in these scriptures is quite evident.
Instead of putting our attention on the darkness, we should get excited about our actual part in all of this, which is over on the glory side of things. Hallelujah! Let’s pray for more of the glory that comes with being full of the Holy Spirit and fire. That turns us on as the light of the Gospel and pushes back the darkness. The only way to dispel the darkness is simply to turn on the light.
Even as Jesus birth fulfilled Isaiah’s prophecy as the Son given, we too, have been born into God’s Kingdom for such a time as this. Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creation waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.
Therefore, in Jesus name, let us be light. As Christmas lights begin to shine this year, let’s remember our part in the glorious outshining of the light of the Good News/Gospel. Let’s do more than have a Merry Christmas, let’s be a Merry Christmas.

Another Successful Missions Trip
The last week of October we hosted a mission team that consisted of Dale, Consuelo, Allen, Debbie, Kevin and Kathy from IL, Pops and Vi from NC,
Mike from OK, Bob from NM, and Connie, Anna, and the Serrato family from Douglas. In the mornings, the men worked on the Jecori church while the women filled Christmas sacks. We were able to complete and deliver 3,000 sacks to the team leaders for the programs in the Cumpas area. Praise the Lord!
In the evenings, we ministered in Teonadepa, Jecori, Moctezuma, Divisederos, Nacozari, and Cumpas. Each night the ministry flowed from God’s throne to meet the specific needs of each church. Besides all that, we had powerful times of prayer, and a continual fiesta with lots of good food and much laughter.
In our endeavor to be spontaneously led by the Holy Spirit one day at a time, we saw the Spirit of the Lord moving with powerful and many
times unexpected focus on the local pastor’s individual needs. Added to that was a powerful message of encouragement and exhortation to youth.
The Lord is pushing the youth to rise up and begin taking their place in His Kingdom. They have the faith, zeal, and energy to run the race and
it’s time for us to get them fired up and off the starting line.
