Rivers of Living Love

Dear Friends,

This letter comes with God’s love radiating from our heart toward you. We feel God is calling us to draw closer to Him – to experience His love and power in a greater way.

Our prayer for you (and us) is from Ephesians 3:16-19 NLT I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower you with inner strength through His Spirit. Then Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him. Your roots will grow down into God's love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

The last part of verse 19 in the Amplified version says that youmay have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself! This is God’s will and purpose for His people.

Romans 5:5 KJV tells us that the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

To live in God’s love we must be filled with His Spirit, and be led by His Spirit. Then rivers of living water will flow from our heart. (John 7:38).

Ephesians 4:16 NKJV from the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. Love always edifies, it completes, never competes.

I Corinthians 13: 8 tells us that love never fails. Therefore, how we love determines our success level in Christian living.

Think of how awesome it will be when these rivers of living love flow out of our hearts; consumed by love, permeated with love, overflowing with love, flowing like a mighty powerful love river all over the earth, washing people, nourishing souls, changing nations. No dam can hold it back; no diversion can change its ultimate destiny. This is God’s heart and purpose for us as His ambassadors.

Revelation 22:1 NKJV And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. Verse 17b And let him who hears say, "Come!" And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

Arise oh people of God! Arise and jump into this river. Be a part of this great flow of God’s love life, for it will truly cover the earth and make all things new. Life shall spring forth on every mountain top and fill every fertile valley.
Arise church, arise and swim for you lives!

Swimming in the River of His Love,

Christmas 2011

Jesus - He came to where we are to be like us, that He might bring us to where He is, to be like Him.

During the Christmas program, from the obnoxious puppet Cuco, to the moving drama of Jesus birth we never tire of watching people’s faces as they portray laughter, excitement, joy, respect, and awe. But the most wonderful part of it all is to watch the light come on as they invite Jesus to live in their hearts.

This year with the help of our faithful partners, we sent out The Most Wonderful Story Ever Told to 11,000 children in about 70 communities. Hallelujah!

The Cumpas church took the program to the tiny community of Mazocahi in the Sonora River Valley. The town didn’t know when they were going to come, but as they came into town and went to the park to set up, children started following them. Pastor Jesus Espinosa left to ask permission of the mayor and his comment was we've been expecting you. By the time Jesus got back to the park there were 175 children present and many of their mothers, without even advertizing. Last year when they went Jesus gave the mayor some Christian books. This year he said, I’ve been reading the books you gave me and consider them a treasure. There is not an evangelical church in town yet, but lots of good seeds are planted.

Another pleasure is to observe new children from our churches participating in the dramas. It is such a privilege for them to be able to be a part of the team and travel to other pueblos they have never visited before. They love it!

This coming year we plan to buy all of our toys in Mexico. Considering Mexico’s currant customs regulations, buying in Mexico financially trims and overall simplifies the process of getting toys to the children. The cost of each completed bag is $2.00. We need to have Christmas money on hand so throughout the year as we are traveling to various areas of Mexico, we can purchase the toys and leave them on site. Then closer to Christmas we can send money to pastors and teams to purchase the candy.
