Reception of His glory

Dear Partners,

We have a prayer for you and send it believing you can access it by faith. Dear Father, we pray in Jesus precious name that our loved ones reading this letter will be overcome by the awesome glory  and presence of God, filling their souls with awe, their eyes with tears and their heart with joy. Amen.

Knowing from Acts 10:34 that God is no respecter of persons, we all stand as candidates for this blessing.

II Chronicles 5 records an encounter with God’s glory at the dedication of Solomon’s temple.

We would like to share a paraphrased outline of the prelude leading up to the manifestation of that glory. Let’s prepare our hearts thereby, even positioning us to be in the right place for the reception of His glory.

II Chronicles 5:1-14: Verse 13-14, “And when the trumpeters and singers were joined in unison, making one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and other instruments for song and praised the Lord, saying For He is good, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever, then the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.

Verse 1: Solomon worked the vision and finished his assignment. He honored the seniority of his father David by using the supplies and plans that David had purchased with blood in preparation for edifying the temple. When the Holy Spirit gives our “father” ministries a vision, it should be carried on by the son as Jesus did.

Verse 2: Solomon gathered together the elders, heads of tribes, and fathers of Israel for the purpose of receiving the Ark of the Covenant. Leadership comes with one purpose in mind, to bring up the Ark (presence) of the Lord’s covenant.

Verses 3 & 4: In these verses we see them gathering with the covenant at the appointed time. God wants to speak to our hearts and direct the timing of all we do in preparation for His glory cloud.

Verse 5 here holy vessels are brought with the priests. If there ever was a day to be a holy vessel unto the Lord’s work, it is now. May we plead the precious blood of the Lamb over our lives and walk in His righteousness.

Verse 6: They honored God with unlimited sacrifices. God expects us to give all we are and shall ever be into His service.

Verses 7, 8 & 9: We see here the priest bringing the ark into the most holy place and placed under angel’s wings. The general public did not see this holy place. As God’s glory surrounds us, it will not be seen by everyone, only those made ready. Oh, what a thought, the angels will be present! There will be a heavenly ambient.

Verse 10: This verse speaks of God’s covenant ark only containing His law, nothing devised by man or other spirits. Jesus later wrapped up all of God’s law in a love package. It is as we walk in His law of love that we will encounter His awesome glory.

Verse 11: In this verse all of the ministers were sanctified and made themselves available to God’s service. Fellow ministers, we must get this!

Verse 12: Now, all the praise and worship team and musicians are in white linen, again pure heart ministers. The trumpeters were numbered 120. This sounds familiar to those who read Acts chapter 2. Being filled with the Holy Spirit is very much a part of this prelude to the glory.

Verse 13: Unity is the key in this verse. One heart towards praising and worshiping God. Now notice this; the clear theme of praise was everyone recognizing and honoring God’s goodness and mercy. It was then that the house was filled with the glory cloud.

We encourage you to take time to read II Chronicles chapter 5 along with this message and join with us here at Faith Ministries in preparation for an unprecedented visitation of the Holy Ghost. Our preparation and expectation is vital to participation.

Enjoying His Presence
Calvin and Barbara

Faith Ministries Reunion 07

The praises of the Lord rose to the heavens and the glory of the Lord filled the house.  Worshiping the Most High and basking in His presence was the priority in these meetings.
Gustavo and Ruth Vega, pastors from Vision Familiar in Obregon, Sonora came and brought some of their praise & worship team. Not only did we enjoy the anointed ministry of Gustavo and Ruth, but their praise team joined our praise team to lead us into high praises.
We enjoyed guests from 8 different churches. Many of the pastors we work with don’t have passports to visit the U.S.
David and Natalee Iniguez oversaw the cooking and the kitchen. All of our people from FMC brought lots of food. We ate like kings.

Portion of Prophetic Word During the Reunion

….The Lord says it’s going to start like popcorn
And you’re going to begin to see a great harvest.
You’re going to begin to see all the seed sprout up.
Because you’ve been sowers of love and money.
…You are at the point of beginning, even in this place.
It’s going to be like a river of the presence of God.
Many, thousands, are going to come and drink.
They’re going to refresh their lives.
They will be strengthened by what they receive in this place.
This place is a place to strengthen the people - to bring refreshment.
God’s presence is going to fill this place with His glory.
People are going to come from different places.
They’re going to come and drink
Because they’re going to know that in this place
They love God; they worship God with all of their heart.
And there will be immediate miracles, hearts will be healed.
Miracles of healing are going to happen in this place
Because of the glory of God - because of the presence of God.
God has looked for places where His Spirit can manifest.
His eyes have went throughout the earth and He has found in this place,
A place where He can feel loved and honored.
…The Lord says it’s a pleasure for Me to be here.
I’ll do great and mighty things in this place.
My glory shall fill this place, says the Lord.
