Frequency of Heaven
Dear Family,
Greetings in the precious name of Jesus.
Our prayer for you is that you will have an ever-increasing awareness of God’s presence in your life, as you tune into the frequency of heaven.
1 Corinthians 2:9-12 NKJV 9. But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love him." 10. But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 11. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 12. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
In the cyberspace around us, there are thousands of frequencies carrying audio/video communications of every sort. To receive them you have to activate the right receiver and tune in.
We can only receive spiritual things through the Spirit of God. Seeing in the Spirit transforms our mind to think in alignment with God’s will, and it enables us to see life from God’s point of view.
Jesus told us in Matthew 6:10 to pray that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. This is the Gospel, in a nutshell, to bring the power and glory of heaven to this earth. We are God’s ambassadors of restoration, wholeness, and healing.
Matthew 16:19 tells us that the gates of hell will not prevail against the church. We are not on the defensive, but the offense. We break open hell’s gates to set the captive free when we release heaven’s transforming power on earth. That’s what happens every time someone is born again, or delivered from demonic oppression, or healed.
We often ask, what is God’s will for my life? Matthew 10:7-8 (KJV) tells us, And as ye go, preach, saying, the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
Wherever we go and whatever we do, our primary purpose is to preach and demonstrate the Kingdom. This is normal Christianity in action. Jesus’ life consisted of both preaching and power, with one not overruling the other.
Our minds need to be transformed to embrace what is ours in Christ. We need to elevate our perspective to embrace what Jesus commissioned us to do. We are not just to be people who believe correct things about God, but people who put the will of God on display.
This can only happen as we put our attention on God through worship and the Word. Worshipping Him tunes us to His frequency where we can hear and see from our spirit instead of our own understanding.
Romans 10:17 tells us that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. In Greek, word is Rhema or the living voice. Faith comes not only by studying scripture but also from hearing the living voice of God as His Spirit reveals the Word to us.
Colossians 3:1-2 NLT shows us we can tune into the frequency of heaven, by focusing on and thinking about the things of heaven. Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God's right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.
Tuning in,
Barbara and Calvin
Calvino’s Thoughts
Acts chapter 2 records a supernatural event that resulted in 3,000 souls being swept into the Kingdom of God. Acts 8:26-39 records another supernatural event when Deacon Phillip was spiritually translated to the desert where he encountered a representative of the Queen of Ethiopia. Being hungry for the things of God, the man is born again and baptized in water. Both events were supernatural and very spiritual in nature, yet one changes 3,000 lives and the other only one life.
Our God has no shortage of supernatural spirit energy so He can put the same effort into one salvation or 3,000. Then in another thought who’s to say, maybe the Ethiopian convert went on to win more souls than the combined 3,000.
God only knows the resulting numbers. So the lesson for me today is not in the importance of counting numbers but rather the importance of soul winning. So let’s get preaching!
Christmas Testimonies
In 2003, in the small, remote village of San Jose de Batopilas, Chihuahua, the people were amazed that we came to do a special program just for them. They exclaimed, “No one has ever come and did anything special for us before.”
Quietly within ourselves, we thought, “Considering the rough rugged trail over a high treacherous mountain we’re not surprised at all!” It’s six hours of 4-wheel driving from the nearest pavement; no stores, scattered houses, and one little school where 40 children live 5 days a week. They walk back to their mountain homes for the weekend.
During the manger scene, we noticed the cook for the school, standing in the doorway with tears streaming down her face. After the program, she told us, “Before today none of these children knew the true meaning of Christmas. To them Christmas was when they got a vacation from school, Mama made tamales, and Daddy and all the uncles got drunk.”
One year it was raining, but they gladly sat in the rain to see the program once again.
We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord, about His power and His mighty wonders. Psalms 78:4 NLT
We are already getting ready for Christmas in Mexico.
The programs typically begin in late November and go through early January.

New Generation Bible Club - aka New Gen
By Ivan Serrato
(President for the past two years.)
We have seen the goodness of our Father rain down on us over and over again since we started this movement 3 years ago at Douglas High School! We are privileged to be in the position to turn people’s lives around to God. In the past two years, we have seen a turnaround in our member’s lives and in our school’s life. We have seen the moving of mountains to lay down the path of love for the DHS students and staff.
We have seen the importance of unity between our youth and churches. We are breaking through walls that held us back in the past to see the bright future that God has planned for us.
Breakthrough
By Mitch Nelson Co-Pastor at Faith Ministries Church (Sponsoring Teacher for New Gen)
On May 18, 2018, the New Generation Bible Club at Douglas High School held an event, “Breakthrough” on the high school grounds for the first time ever.
New Gen is made up of 30-40 teens from grade 9-12 that attend the high school but the club is also made up of many teens from different churches from around the Douglas, Arizona community.
This event was a worship event, with the focus solely set on spending time in worship, seeking the kingdom of God and getting the breakthrough that many need in their lives. The event ran from 5 pm until 9 pm, with as many as 150 people in attendance, some of whom were members of the local churches. However, many people there were not members of churches and were people responding to the message of the gospel that New Gen was presenting at this event.
We’ve seen a difference in our church community in Douglas - we are uniting. God is moving in the schools and in our community. There is a major shift in the atmosphere in and out of the school system and we are excited to be here at this time to see this taking place. The schools have become a place where it was once thought you couldn’t take the gospel and now the schools are a place where students are hungry for the realities of God and the realities of what the kingdom of God can bring into their lives.
